Yes! I have so many personal experiences of this. Learning to live with open hands is so helpful and luckily in my experience it feels a little easier to readjust the more times it happens. Although when the disruption first happens itās always jarring.
Jarring is a great word. Iāve had disruption before, but this is new and different being a believer now. What a relief to know that I have Him now, and donāt have to strive or exhaust myself trying to will my own plan into action.

I'm sorry. I can relate to the gut punch - and the baseball game! I had a friend who has been there too. When we talked about it one time he said something like, "I've learned that if it isn't a hard leave I might go back." Yikes. Since then I've asked God to keep me aligned so I don't have to go through that again. Best to you. Love this writing piece. Thanks for sharing.š
